Pennsylvania State Chess Federation (PSCF)


The PSCF is the official state affiliate to the United States Chess Federation (USCF).

It sponsors a variety of state championships. The State Championship alternates between eastern, central, and western sites. The State Scholastic and Quick Chess Championships are traditionally held in March.

The PSCF is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, and donations are tax-deductible. The PSCF is committed to helping scholastic chess as much as possible. The PSCF will also help tournament directors advance in certification by offering volunteers chances to be assistant directors as often as possible.

PSCF Membership

The current PSCF Membership List. Tournament Directors may use it to check for membership status for entrants in tournaments requiring PSCF membership. Players are encouraged to check when they will need to renew and to see if there are any membership problems for them (such as a missing or incorrect address).
